Hyperlite Binding clamps

I keep breaking/bending the clamps that came with my Hyperlite board/bindings. First the plastic knobs come off, then I replace with stainless bolts, then the clamp itself bends.

Then, my board actually broke. I'm definitely still learning, so I crash hard and often.

In anticipation of my warranty replacement coming in soon, I started looking around for some better clamps. All I could find where these-

$20 from buywake.com Not sure just how much better they're going to be? I like the thick washer, but not the phillips head screw. Would much prefer hex head cap screw.

Anyone else had these problems w/ hyperlite bindings?

Also found these- $30 before shipping.

Seem like they'd do the trick though...

I need all the clamps I can keep around! I've been going through them like crazy...

The local board shop (Ambush- retail face of buywake.com) gave me a few from behind the counter last time I was there buying a rope and handle, but I am sick of them getting loose/bending.

I replaced mine with "the Claw" and that's the last I've worried about them. Because of the old ones loosening up over time, I still check them to see if they're tight, as a habit, but they always are.
